What the Follow Up and Upsell signals on a deal mean, and what to do about them.
AI lead qualification works on the lead data already in your workspace — deal notes, fields, and activity. It doesn't (yet) read WhatsApp conversations; that channel is still "Coming Soon," pending Meta's WhatsApp Business API approval (see the FAQ for the current status). What's below is what the panel shows today.
- Open a deal. Open any deal's detail view — its AI Insights panel appears automatically alongside the deal's core info and activity timeline.
- Read the insight cards. Each card shows a tag — like "Follow Up" or "Upsell" — a confidence score, and a short note explaining the signal, based on the lead data already in your workspace.
- Act on the next best action. A "Follow Up" card's note is the suggested next step — for example, prioritising a quote within a set window. Higher confidence means a stronger signal.
- See every field it's based on. Click "All fields" to expand the full set of AI fields behind the qualification — useful when you want the detail, not just the summary.
A deal with little activity yet may not show any insight cards — qualification needs some lead data to work from. Add a note, a product mentioned, or move it through a stage, and check back.
